 Calderwood Cropping Center: James designed and built this hay drying facility in 2015. This large project includes a 18,000 hay storage building, a 7,500 s.f. hay drying building, and a 2,500 s.f. auxiliary hay drying building. The facility has dried over 20,000 large round bales to date. Currently the building is drying Vermont’s newest agricultural product - Hemp

 Green Machine: Innovative waste treatment and nutrient recovery facility to manage waste streams from the 50 cow dairy and attached cheese plant. The project integrated a greenhouse, methane digester, wastewater treatment and composting. James procured grant funding, led the design team and managed construction of this technically detailed project.
