Gunther Accessory Dwelling

The Lake Caspian Accessory Dwelling is a compact retreat designed to provide 4-season accommodations and modern convenience. The accessory dwelling allows the owner’s to preserve the primary 100 year old shingle style summer camp in its rustic form and its original grace but to have modern accommodations in any season. The new building is inspired by the forest, lake, and primary camp and responds with shingle, glass, and pronounced features and proportion. The siting replaces existing impervious surfaces further from the lake, manages storm water out of the lake, and restores previous development to native forest.
